First Fifth Third Bank Branch Opens in Bowling Green
Fifth Third Bank has opened its first branch in Bowling Green at 2450 Nashville Road. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the new location, which was previously a Pizza Hut. Local officials and bank representatives were present for the event.
Lashlee Anthony, the bank's manager and a Bowling Green native, expressed excitement about the new location. She mentioned that it would provide easier access to banking services for residents and Western Kentucky University students, who previously had to drive to Tennessee for the nearest branch. The bank also plans to park its 'eBus' at WKU's Knicely Conference Center to offer free financial resources to visitors.
